Platform / Architecture
The architecture of Cirrusage Intelligence Platform.
A logical view of CIP: who it serves, the engine that does the work, the knowledge it draws on, and the trust controls that run through all of it. Every element is labelled with its maturity, because a diagram is a plan, not proof.

Read a text description of this diagram
The diagram has three layers connected by two-way links, with a governance band spanning all of them.
Top layer, Intelligence Experiences & Applications: Personal Intelligence, Team Intelligence, Executive Intelligence, Industry Applications, Partner Solutions. It connects to the engine through unified intelligence services and APIs, inside consistent security, privacy, compliance and governance boundaries.
Middle layer, the CIP Intelligence Engine: Organizational Context, Institutional Memory, Reasoning & Intelligence, Continuous Intelligence, Intelligent Action, and Security, Privacy, Compliance & Governance.
Bottom layer, Enterprise Knowledge & Digital Ecosystem: Documents & Content, Communications, Enterprise Systems, Databases & Data, Events & Activities, AI Models & Services, Infrastructure, Policies, Risk & Compliance. It connects to the engine through secure, governed data integration, with organizational context, permissions and policy enforced.
Each tile is labelled Available in pilot, In development, or Architectural roadmap.
- Available in pilot
- Working in the Cirrusage-operated CIP environment today, shown in guided walkthroughs and available to design-partner pilots. Not generally available.
- In development
- Partly built, or built and not yet validated end to end. Being actively engineered.
- Architectural roadmap
- Part of the platform architecture we are designing toward. Not built yet.
Intelligence experiences
Different users, one intelligence foundation. Each experience reuses the same engine, permissions and memory.
Personal Intelligence
A work assistant that carries context across conversations, documents, voice and meetings, and remembers what matters under the person's own control.
Available in pilotTeam Intelligence
Shared workspaces where authorized teammates build on the same knowledge, instructions and history. Shared workspaces work today; team-level intelligence is being built.
In developmentExecutive Intelligence
Leaders conversing with the knowledge of the functions they are authorized to see, with every insight traceable to its source.
Architectural roadmapIndustry Applications
Specialized applications that reuse the engine for regulated, knowledge-intensive work. The first initiative is Cirrusage Life Sciences Intelligence.
In developmentPartner Solutions
Applications and integrations built by technology partners and enterprise customers on CIP's services and APIs.
Architectural roadmap
The intelligence engine
Where context, memory, reasoning and continuity come together. Each capability is broken down into the facets that exist today and the ones still ahead.
CAPABILITY A
Organizational Context
Understanding how people, projects, teams, roles and priorities relate, within the organizational boundaries and permissions that already exist.
- Organizations, workspaces and projects as enforced security boundariesAvailable in pilot
- Members, roles and restricted projectsAvailable in pilot
- Relationships among people, teams, projects and prioritiesArchitectural roadmap
CAPABILITY B
Institutional Memory
Persistent knowledge, decisions and history, each tied to its source, governed through its lifecycle, and kept distinct from what has since been superseded.
- Personal, workspace and organization memory with review controlsAvailable in pilot
- Provenance to original sources; versions, supersession, disputes and audit historyAvailable in pilot
- Current versus superseded decisions across all retrieved historyIn development
- Retention holds and erasureIn development
CAPABILITY C
Reasoning & Intelligence
Context-aware retrieval, synthesis and analysis across the knowledge a person is authorized to see, with answers that cite where they came from.
- Permission-trimmed hybrid retrieval with cited answersAvailable in pilot
- Synthesis across documents, conversations and meeting transcriptsAvailable in pilot
- Contradiction detection and pattern analysisArchitectural roadmap
CAPABILITY D
Continuous Intelligence
Intelligence that accumulates from ongoing work, so each conversation builds on the last instead of starting over.
- Continuity across sessions: conversations become searchable knowledgeAvailable in pilot
- Live meeting assistance with participant consent and speaker separationAvailable in pilot
- Event-driven ingestion from other systemsIn development
CAPABILITY E
Intelligent Action
The longer-term path from insight to action: recommendations, workflows and tool integrations, with agents that operate under policy and human oversight.
- Recommendations grounded in organizational contextArchitectural roadmap
- Governed workflows and enterprise tool integrationsArchitectural roadmap
- Agents with policy controls and human oversightArchitectural roadmap
CAPABILITY F
Security, Privacy, Compliance & Governance
Foundational, not a feature: identity, isolation, policy, provenance and auditability enforced in every layer, from storage to retrieval to the model.
- Enterprise sign-in with Microsoft Entra IDAvailable in pilot
- Isolation enforced in the database, storage, search and retrieval, never by promptingAvailable in pilot
- Keyless service identity; encryption in transit and at restAvailable in pilot
- Federation with other identity providers (SAML / OIDC)Architectural roadmap
- Compliance control mapping and evidenceArchitectural roadmap
Enterprise knowledge integration
CIP keeps originals and their provenance as the foundation. Search indexes and embeddings exist only for retrieval, and source facts are kept apart from AI interpretation.

Architectural roadmap
Security, privacy, compliance and governance
Not a layer you add, but a set of rules every layer obeys. Authorization is enforced in code and in the data layer, never by asking the model to behave.
- Identity: Microsoft Entra ID sign-in, validated on every requestAvailable in pilot
- Access: organization, workspace and project boundaries enforced in SQL and in the search filterAvailable in pilot
- Provenance: originals retained and cited; derived knowledge versioned separatelyAvailable in pilot
- Auditability: memory history, supersession and disputes recordedAvailable in pilot
- Retention and erasure across records, files and search entriesIn development
- Policy: organization-defined policies applied as platform controlsArchitectural roadmap
Extensibility
CIP is built so new sources, models and applications can be added without redesigning the core.
- A documented API shared by the web application, workers and testsAvailable in pilot
- Source adapters kept separate from the engine, so new sources don't change the coreAvailable in pilot
- Event-driven ingestion endpoint for pushing items from other systemsIn development
- Provider-neutral interfaces for model, speech and search servicesArchitectural roadmap
- Connectors to enterprise systems and collaboration toolsArchitectural roadmap
- Public APIs and SDKs for partner and customer applicationsArchitectural roadmap
